Reduced Publishing in Near Future

Hey Everyone,

I had pretty big plans for 2020 with DiscDish.org. Given the current situation with the virus, I am not sure I will be able to pursue those plans in the near future. Looking at how this virus has impacted other countries, things may become very hectic, very soon. I anticipate that close to 100% of my time in the near future will be spent on the following:

  • Keeping my family and myself healthy
  • Helping those in my social circles, and community, however I can
  • Staying employed

DiscDish.org isn’t going to disappear! Rather, it will be right here – I just won’t have time to publish articles on a regular basis as they have been since the beginning of February (unfortunately, that means the HS Open Preview Part 2 may not be finished for this year).

I’m in this for the long haul, and I see the virus as being a short-term challenge, rather than an existential one, for DiscDishorg.

I’m hoping that my decision to reduce publishing is an overreaction. I’m hoping that when the summer arrives, I realize that I do have time on my hands, and I can begin spending significant time writing articles spotlighting those that play the sport I love. But what’s going on around me tells me otherwise.

With that, I’ll just ask everyone to stay safe, wash your hands, and be the best version of yourself when you wake up every day.

I’ll see you all when we get through this.
